
TURKIYE DRONE RACE
The Turkiye Drone Race is the FPV drone race held in Turkey as part of the Drone Racing World Cup organized by the International Air Sports Federation (FAI).
CAT2 World Cup races are held in different countries every year. FPV pilots earn points in these races to qualify for the FAI's Drone Racing World Cup.
In 2024, the FAI Drone Racing World Cup "Turkiye Drone Race" (TDR) was held for the first time. In 2025, the FAI authorized the Turkish Air Sports Federation (THSF) to host this race on September 6-7, 2025. THSF has granted the authority to organize the Turkey Drone Race to the International Drone Sports Club UDSK / Tech Drone League.
With the authorization and implementation of regulations by the FAI, and with the support of the Fatih Municipality, a minimum of 30 and a maximum of 60 pilots will be able to participate in TDR25, which will be held at Yedikule Hisarı on September 5-6.
TURKISH AIR SPORTS FEDERATION
Founded in 2017 to contribute to the development of our country's sports aviation sector and to increase global awareness of air sports, as in other sports, THSF, with its 16 different air sports branches, athletes, and clubs, has adopted the goal of continuously improving itself in the field of air sports and ensuring its sustainability through its values. In 2025, the THSF will become the Republic of Turkey's With the approval of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Drone Soccer and Drone Simulator Racing branches have been added to the THSF Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and Drone Racing branches.
